The Head and The Governors will be holding an evening in early January geared around talks and questions to help spread information and understanding. Keith Simmonds, a senior council officer will also be present to take any questions. This is in advance of the Independant review panel coming to the island and is seen as a key opportunity for parents, guardians, stakeholders, staff and governors to align their thinking and approach in prepartion for the panel's visit. The panel will, amongst other things, want to talk to interested representatives and this is seen as a crucial part of the process by which the panel will come to their informed reccommendations they will then put to the council.
So this will be an opportunity to share opinion, establish representative bodies and talk through how we intend to approach the panel prior to their arrival, around late January.
Any thoughts, or concerns, you would like to talk through with any of the Governors or The Head will always be most welcome.
