Please do not park on East Green road as this is a private road. The Roadside Inn has kindly offered parking for drop-off and pick up times Would you please observe the following rules to ensure the maximum level of safety for all pedestrians. No Parents to wait at the school gate as this causes dangerous congestion. . The Road Crossing Patrol Officer is legally responsible for the safe crossing of pedestrians while she is on duty. Therefore, please listen to her instructions. Children who catch the school bus will meet at 2.55 pm in the school hall and will be the first to leave school with staff supervision. Children who cross both roads will meet at 3.00pm outside the Hall and will follow the bus children out of school. Parents should wait on the far side of the green. Any child who has not been met by a parent will be taken back into school by the teacher on duty. Children being collected from school, Children in Reception and Class 1 will leave the school from the side entrance (near Class 1 next to Chatterbox and staff room mobiles) Parents are requested to meet their children there. Children in Classes 2, 3 and 4 will leave from the playground door and parents are requested to meet their children there. There will be members of staff at each door to care for children who need to wait, if parents have children leaving from different doors. You, Your child, and the school staff need to know the location of your collection point. We need either written instruction (ideally) or a telephone call (emergency) if any change is to be made to the usual arrangements. If you make any arrangements for your child that are not part of the normal pattern of events, e.g. a friend or neighbour is to collect your child from school instead of yourself, would you please inform us by sending a note to your child's teacher. We will not make changes to the usual routine on your child's verbal instructions. Different arrangements operate when the pupil is staying for an after-school activity.
